I kinda feel like I lost my groove for a little while, but I am back!!! =D
We are settled into our new house and loving it. The third book in the Grey Vision series has been released and I have just got my butt back to working on the fourth one. I am not going to promise anything, but my goal is to have this ready for release by the end of November.
I can say that I wasn't being lazy all this time. lol As many people know, I am the captain of my Relay for life team and I have just accepted the 2015 Survivor/Caregiver committee chair for a second year. I have also already been busy with fundraisers.
This is my fifth year participating in a Relay for Life event. This is another one of my passions that rate up there with writing. It is my way of feeling like I am making a difference. As a Cancer Survivor myself, it is my way of feeling in control after being out of control for so long.
I haven't been completely away from my writing during this time. I have actually started going over all of my books. I don't know if this is a good thing or not. I am so surprised at some of the mistakes I missed. I am working on correcting them and I will resubmit them when I am finished. I told myself from the beginning that this was going to be a learning experience for myself. That it has been! =) I am sure I will continue learning many years down the road, as well.
I also have a new editor/beta reader. She has started working with me since the first Grey Vision book. I have to say she is a huge blessing to me! I appreciate her so much. I find myself looking forward to bouncing ideas off of her. Not like I needed it before, but she has me finding myself even more excited to dive into a story. =)
I know this is hard to believe, yeah right, but I have already got another story trying to form in my head. It really makes it hard when you are trying to concentrate on something you are currently doing. I keep telling them to be patient and wait their turn. Sometimes it works, but I think these characters are starting to get impatient with me. lol
Speaking of them getting impatient, I think I better get back to work. I really need to get some more writing done tonight. I have kept Greyson waiting long enough. lol
Until next time
Much Love,
